Youth and Young People's Ministry

 

Bethesda's Youth group is open to kids in the 6th grade and up. The group meets on Thursday evenings, from 6-7:30 pm. The youth group has fun while focusing on fellowship, education and service. Meetings include snacks, prayer, devotion, projects, event planning, games, and most importantly, FUN! The youth have been very busy over the last few months; they have taken trips to Barrett's Chapel and to play mini-golf, they've worked on a t-shirt and car wash fundraisers, and they were the strongest walkers and fundraisers for Bethesda's Relay for Life team. They've also been busy making future plans. Over the next few months, the youth are planning on participating in the Walk for Polycystic Kidney disease, taking a trip to get lost ( and then find their way out ) in a corn maze, traveling to a youth rally, and dusting off the sleeping bags for a spring camping trip.
