The Bethesda Child Development Center

The Bethesda United Methodist Church offers the Bethesda Child Development Center as a mission to the MOT community offering academic preschool and kindergarten programs, as well as before and after school care programs in the local school district. Our dedicated staff is committed to creating a fun, safe, learning environment for the children. All of our programs are academically based. BCDC is currently offering the following programs:

Preschool Classes:

Half Day Classes:

2.5 to 3 Years: (Must be 3 by Dec.31st). Flexible days and hours, rates depend on attendance.

3 Year Old: ( Must be 3 when class begins in August) Tues and Thurs, 9:00 -12 noon. $40.00 per week.

4 Year Old:(Must be 4 when class begins in August) Mon, Wed, Fri, 9:00-12 noon. $55.00 per week.

Pre- K Class: (Must be 5 by Dec. 31st). Monday- Friday, 9:00- 12noon. Uses McGraw- Hill Curriculum.$90.00 per week.

Full Day Classes

2.5 to 3 Years: (Must be 3 by Dec.31st). Flexible days and hours, rates depend on attendance.

3 Year Old: Monday-Friday 9:00-3:00, $135.00 per week. Care before and after these hours is available for $170.00 per week.

4 Year Old: Monday-Friday 9:00-3:00, $135.00 per week. Care before and after these hours is available for $170.00 per week.

Pre-K Class: (must be 5 by Dec. 31st) Monday-Friday 9:00-3:00, $135.00 per week. Care before and after these hours is available for $170.00 per week.

A full day rate is $45.00 per day for all age groups. A full day rate for 2 days per week is $90.00 for all age groups...

Before and After School Care Programs:

Bethesda: ( for children attending A.E.C.C. and M.O.T. Charter School) In the morning, children ride the bus from Bethesda to either A.E.C.C. or MOT Charter, and at dismissal, they will ride the bus from their school to Bethesda.Before care begins at 7am, after care available from dismissal until 6pm.

Redding: Afternoon transportation is available from Redding Middle School to Bethesda for our aftercare program.

Townsend Early Childcare Center: opens at 6:30 am, aftercare available from dismissal until 6pm.

Townsend Elementary: opens at 6:30am, aftercare available from dismissal until 6pm.

Silver Lake: opens at 7am, aftercare available from dismissal until 6pm.

Before and After Care rates are:

Both Before and After Care: $95.00 per week

Early Morning Care Only: $40.00 per week

After School Care Only: $60.00 per week
